Best Location in Town!
I was in Dili for work, but wanted to have the feeling of being on a tropical island, not in a cookie cutter chain hotel. Esplanada was a great choice, as it is funky and has character but is very well run. The restaurant has a great view of the water, and the food was uniformly good. The front desk staff were very helpful to a newcomer who had to get things done.

Great place to stay in Dili
Lovely view of the sea from the restaurant, and view of the garden from the bedrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast. Nice that they have live music in the restaurant on some nights.

Highly recommended
This was my second stay at the Esplanada in 12 months. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is lovely. Sitting upstairs overlooking the ocean is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Really Comfortable
I stayed here with a school group I was traveling with. The kids love the pool the breakfasts were great and the meals of an evening were fantastic. It was nice to be able to walk out of the doors and be on the beach. Airconditioning was good and the bed really comfortable.
